About this trail

Gently winding through the heart of Redlands Track Park, this circuit offers a wonderful immersion into South East Queensland's vibrant bushland. As you meander through the open eucalypt forest and riparian terrain, keep a sharp eye out for local residents koalas are often spotted dozing in the canopy, while lace monitors and wallabies are frequently seen in the scrub. The area is a haven for birdlife, with the melodic warble of butcherbirds and the chatter of lorikeets accompanying your journey. The terrain is largely comprised of flowing, sandy tracks that are popular with mountain bikers, so stay alert and share the path. The main track follows the power lines but there are plenty of bike trails with beautiful bush scrub to explore. While the elevation is gentle, the winding trails add a lovely sense of exploration as you move through different vegetation zones. Entry via McDonald Road & Flinders Street, Alexandra Hills, good off street parking. No toilets on site. Horse riders and Mountain Bikers also use these tracks. A few swimming holes available for a dip (take a long lead).
